This gift package will provide for one full 12 hour postpartum night shift provided by a trained North Star Postpartum Doula. During a postpartum shift, your doula will begin with an emotional and physical check in to help to plan the goals for the evening. From there they may provide some meal prep, light cleaning, newborn care, lactation support, and sibling support. When it’s time to go to bed, your doula will care for your newborn while you get deep, restful sleep. You can choose if you’d like for your newborn to be bottle-fed or if you’d prefer to wake up for nursing sessions, but once baby is done with their midnight feedings, your doula will gently rock them back to sleep. In the morning, you will feel well rested and cared for, ready for a new day.
